Widgety Goodness

Yet another feature I’m going to cram into 3.1 is going to be widget support. I haven’t really been looking at this closely, since I don’t use them on the site. However, Mr. Constantinos wrote up a clean little plugin to do the basic job of putting the In Series table of contents in a […]

Plugin Updates and WordPress 2.3

Arg! So, I’ve figured out why plugin updates don’t work for In Series in WordPress 2.3: “In Series” contains a space. I have filed a bug; hopefully it will get fixed soonish it’s been fixed.

Automated testing has coverage that’s sufficient enough for me, at this point — and I’m not just saying that because I’ve spent the last six months putting the […]

More Config Tests!

Well, hooray; I’ve been making some progress on testing. I have tests written which verify that changes made in the In Series configuration page are reflected correctly on the resulting post pages. I’m maybe a third of the way done with these; more than anything, they’re tedious. That said, I haven’t had to wrestle with […]

6 Hours Fighting a Rowdy Apostrophe

Well, I’ve put in another 8 hour day — this one turned out to be just about as grueling as the last. Here I thought I was going to get all this work done, and then one obstinate bug crops up to throw my plans out of whack. What could possibly detain me for the […]
