In Series 3.0.9 — performance boost

I know I just did a release, but I’ve got a couple more fixes in that folks will probably find useful. For starters, I’ve been going through and trying to improve the performance of In Series for the last few days. This release reduces the number of database queries, in some scenarios by an order of magnitude — it’s a lot easier on the database. I also tweaked a section of code to be a little bit faster than before. And last, but not least, this version plays nice with excerpts — series links (like the table of contents) will never be automatically rendered to an excerpt anymore. By extension, feed summaries will no longer contain tag-stripped series links — the full-content part of the feeds will still contain the series links, in all their glorious detail. Enjoy!

Get In Series 3.0.9.
