Good Ol’ 9 to 5
Well, I’ve been slowly getting back into the groove of things, and I’ve been putting in some honest-to-goodness 8-hour days on In Series testing. I’ve tackled several automated test problems that have been persistent thorns in my side for quite some time now, and I’m rather pleased. I’ve gotten a whole big chunk of post manipulation tests finished, have the sanity-check configuration tests written, and got a head start on WordPress 2.3 compatibility. I even found and fixed a couple bugs in In Series, which makes me feel a lot better about investing all this time in testing.
I still haven’t put in a full work-week yet (Monday threw me off; I didn’t know it was labor day until I tried to run some quick errands in the morning, and places were closed…), but I may very well be getting 40 hours in next week. Since I’m not attending a proper day job for the time being, I’m going to be pimping the donations page really hard. Even small contributions help to defray the cost of living! For as little as $7.70/week, you can guarantee a guy has his pint (or at least half a pint, as the case may be)! Act now to help support your new full-time open-source employee!
That said, I guess I need to go to bed; I’ve got work tomorrow. ;)
